Today’s prayer
Written prayerHeavenly Father, please hear my concerns. I see great despair and godlessness surrounding me. It is frightening, Lord! I sometimes wonder if you are still in control? Oh Lord, encourage my failing heart. I know you are still in charge of our world, our country, and my personal life even when it looks like everything is out of control. Remind me that your name is the name above all names and you are more powerful than any other power in heaven and on earth. Remind me that your kingdom is here and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. You have called me to rule over adversity in the name of Jesus and you have given me authority in his name to tread on Statan’s head. You are my saving grace and give me the wisdom I need to speak life into situations that want to kill, rob, steal, and destroy. I rejoice knowing that you will prevail as I continue to praise and exalt you. You are my defender and protection. You have already won the battle and I need to declare that victory. Oh Lord, my God, there is nothing you cannot do. Thank you for encouraging me as you take control over so many evil, fraudulent efforts to destroy the good things of this world. Thank You Lord I am safe in your presence. I honor and trust you; I worship You Lord in Jesus name, Amen.
