Today’s prayer
Written prayerJesus, you said, "The kingdom of God is like a man who scatters seed on the ground." Once that seed is planted in our hearts it continues to grow night and day, and I don't know how that happens. That seed is the life of Christ embedded in my heart. Your Holy Spirit causes it to grow, and as it does, it presses out all the old hurts and injuries from my past life. Your life takes over my thinking and actions as I continue to grow in conformity to your word. Breathe upon your life in me and accelerate my growth process so your light can shine brighter in me. Amen.
