Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord God almighty, maker of heaven and earth, I will declare the good news of your salvation to all those I encounter each day. I will sing your praises unto the ends of the earth. No one can contain my joy when I consider the beauty of your ways. When I awaken each day with life and breath within me, my tongue shall praise your Holy name. Each day is a new opportunity for me to rejoice in your goodness. Each day is a celebration of life for all the multiple blessings you have bestowed upon me. Your mercies are new every morning and I continue to benefit from their goodness. Your mercies will never come to an end and I have a fresh beginning each day to start over. Yesterday is gone and washed away through your blood and forgiveness. Today I have an opportunity to love you better, serve you more diligently, and experience your love more fully. Each day is a new adventure with you that allows me to show forth your praises and let the light of salvation shine through me. I praise you Lord of all the earth and delight in your love. In Jesus name, amen.
