Global Prayer on Mark 16:2

And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

Mark 16:2 · KJV

Today’s prayer

Written prayer

Heavenly father, my heart goes out to the women who couldn’t wait to get up and anoint their departed messiah for burial after Sabbath was over. Their deep sorrow made them want to pay their last respect for him and make sure that his body was properly embalmed. They didn’t expect to see an empty tomb. They forgot all he had told them about his death and resurrection to eternal life. They went with heavy hearts to minister to him in death as they had ministered to him in life. Father, establish your truth deep in my heart and help me not be swayed by circumstances. Without faith it is impossible to please you. Faith holds tight to your truth and continues to believe that nothing is impossible for you. The stronger my faith the more you're delighted to move on my behalf. Help me not to waver in doubt or fear but rule over my fears with confessions of faith. I believe in your resurrection power. I believe that nothing is impossible for you. I trust in your goodness and have faith in your power to breath your resurrection power into even the deadest of circumstance. Nothing is beyond your resurrection power.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
