Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear God, Your covenant of grace and kindness is unfailing. You have promised to give Abraham a great nation, with descendants more numerous than the stars in the sky. We praise You for Your promise and for Your faithfulness to our forefathers. We thank You for the generations before us who trusted You and followed You. We thank You for the gift of life, and Your loving kindness that sustains us each day. We ask that You would help us to honor our covenant with You so that Your word may be fulfilled. Show us the way to live according to Your will and give us strength when we stumble. May we live lives of righteousness and may our descendants honor You with their lives. We ask this in Jesus’ name, amen.
