Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, Whenever I am faced with the command to honor my father and mother, I am reminded of the position of dignity You’ve placed on parents. You hold parents in great honor because You’ve also given them great responsibility. Raising children is not for the faint of heart, nor should it be taken lightly. Give me a greater reverence for my own parents and parenting figures in my life, and fill me with a sense of awe that I am able to have such a privilege.
