Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, I pray for a heavenly perspective of discipline. When in the moment, the discipline I give my children seems miserable for both of us. But I am certain that loving guidance and godly discipline will yield joyful fruit in time. Give me patience to be consistent, even when it’s easier to compromise Give me stamina to endure tantrums, slamming doors, and circular conversations. I want to be a parent that leans solely on the pillar of peace – Jesus Christ. I trust You and rely on You!
