Global Prayer on 2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14 · KJV

Today’s prayer

Written prayer

Oh Lord, my God, when I consider the sins of my people, when I consider my own sins, How far we have fallen from your loving mercy and grace. I have gone my own way, worshiped other gods because of my selfish desires not considering your will that may have been different from mine. My heart breaks over displeasing You, Lord! I think of You hanging on the Cross dying for me, for a world filled with sinners. My pride does not want to openly admit and confess my sins. My pride wants to be nourished with self-importance and self-initiated power over circumstances and people. Help me to humble myself before you, to be willing to turn from my pride and look at my sins and confess them to You. Will you hear from heaven as I confess my sins, Lord? Will you forgive me of my evil ways? Please do not give up on me. I need your forgiveness and the healing of our land and my life. Your ways are not my ways but my ways need to more like your ways in holiness and love for you! Thank You, Lord I pray in Jesus name, amen.
