Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Heavenly Father, I am overwhelmed when I consider your amazing ways! You gently, carefully, and tenderly mold me into your image day by day. You work in the stillness of my heart. No one sees your hand moving things around to change my heart, attitudes, and conversations. Suddenly it all comes together and I see the changes you’ve made inside me. It is so awesome Lord! Where I was impatient, now I am more patient. Where I would become angry at people, You have now given me love for them. When I want to do things my way, you gently reason with me to submit to your way. Where I used offensive language, you taught me to speak more kindly to others. You are so gracious Lord! You don’t give me what I really deserve but lovingly form me according to your grace. You love me Lord - You really love me! I don’t have to be afraid of you. If I sin I repent, and you pick me up and lovingly lead me on, working the necessary changes in my heart. Thank You Lord for never giving up on me and for teaching me the wisdom of your ways. You are the truth I long for and I love you from the bottom of my heart! In Jesus, name, Amen.
