Today’s prayer
Written prayerHeavenly Father,
We confess that we often get caught up in the trivial, the mundane, and the temporary. We focus on earthly treasures, human judgments, and worldly successes, forgetting that Your kingdom values are far grander and eternally significant. Lord, ignite within us a burning passion for the true treasures of Your kingdom: righteousness, peace, and joy.
Father, clothe us with Your righteousness, the righteousness that comes through faith. As we navigate the complex ethical landscapes of our world, guide us to live uprightly, justly, and in alignment with Your divine will. May our lives be testimonies to Your faithfulness, drawing others to seek the righteousness that only You can give. Shower us with Your peace, Lord. In a world filled with conflict, division, and unrest, let us be peacemakers, ambassadors of the tranquility that transcends understanding. May our very presence soothe troubled hearts, mend broken relationships, and promote unity where there is discord.
Thank You, Father, for reminding us what truly matters. Empower us to seek first Your kingdom and its righteousness, to let Your peace rule in our hearts, and to experience the profound joy that comes from walking in the Spirit.
