Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord,
We are humbled that You have chosen to imprint Your image upon us. Yet we acknowledge that we often fall short of living as Your image-bearers. We stumble, we divide, and we forget the sacredness of our collective calling. Forgive us, Lord, and renew us. Father, we pray that You would unite us in the purpose for which we were created—to be mirrors of Your love, kindness, and justice in this world. May we see each other as fellow bearers of Your image, transcending the divisions of race, nationality, gender, and class that so often pull us apart.
Empower us, God, to be agents of unity and architects of community, recognizing that when one of us suffers, we all suffer; when one of us triumphs, we all share in that victory. Stir our hearts to value the dignity and worth of every individual, and to work together in building a world that reflects Your kingdom ideals. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
