Today’s prayer
Written prayerHeavenly Father, when I look to you I see truth, purity, love and honesty. You always give guidance that helps me, and rings true to my spirit. It grieves me to think that anyone would lie and deceive people with words that sound like your words, your motives, and your direction but, Lord, their words are not from you. Please give me discernment to know when someone is not telling the truth. Help me to know when you are guiding me, and not someone giving me words that confuse and mislead me. And, Lord, expose false prophets so they cannot misguide people. They appear harmless and come as gentle, convincing messengers but they are like wolves in sheep’s clothing and hurt your people. They misrepresent the truth of who you are. But, Lord, You are my Savior and live within me. You are greater than false prophets and the false spirits of the world. You lead me in the paths of righteousness, truth, and godly justice. I worship You, Lord, and love you, and I trust you with the direction of my life. In You I trust and worship! Please lead false prophets to repent and turn to you. Give me discernment Lord, and fill me with your truth. Thank You Lord! I love You Lord! Amen.
