Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, sometimes I get so frustrated I think I would be better off dead. I wouldn't have to worry about anything anymore. But then I realize how weak my flesh is and how little I am trusting in you. Forgive me Lord for thinking about the easy way out instead of the courageous way through this life with you. When I depend on myself to manage my problems, I am overcome with weariness because I do not trust you. Help me Lord to believe that you can do for me what I cannot do for myself. Help me rest in you instead of obsessing about every detail of my problems. Revive me oh, Lord. Amen.
