Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, the world devoured me before I knew you. It chewed me up and left me ravaged and full of despair. I surrendered to you and committed my life to you. I sought you with my whole heart and felt the tender touch of your love. You delivered me from the hand of my adversary who wanted to destroy me and gave me peace. What a glorious day that was when I crossed over the boundary line into your kingdom. You became the ruler of my heart and the protector of my soul. I am home in your heart of love, and I am at rest. Amen.
