Today’s prayer
Written prayerThose who don’t delight in your laws are like worthless chaff, blown away by the wind. Our sin and foolish choices make us chaff in your sight. Thank you for bringing me to my senses, and for giving me the courage to admit my guilt and turn from my foolishness. You restored my life. I have a new life in you, Lord, and have new hopes and desires. Your word put new thoughts in my mind, and I began to act differently. You changed me by your divine grace. I am no longer chaff but a fruitful tree, able to bear much fruit. My old nature is gone, and my new character is becomes more like my redeemer every day. Amen.
