Today’s prayer
Written prayerFather, what a tremendous love you have for me. While I was lost in darkness and estranged from you, living to please myself, you sent Christ to pay the price for my sins. You saw beyond my blindness and made a way of escape for me. You demonstrated a love I have never known through the sacrificial death of your son. I deserved the price he paid, but because you loved me, you sent Jesus to spare me. The power of your love broke my heart and turned me from my sinful, self-indulgent ways. It was your love that captured my heart, and I will never be the same. Where you lead, I will follow. Amen.
