Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, thank you for teaching me not to take advantage of anyone who may be in debt to me. It is not a weakness to make sure they are taken care of, even if they have not paid their debt. Mercy shows kindness and reveals your grace to those in need. Let them see your compassion through my actions so they will give you praise. Help me not to be overbearing in my desire to collect what is owed me but work out a reasonable plan that will benefit both of us. Thank you for teaching me to be considerate of the comfort and subsistence of others, as much as my own. Amen.
