The prayer
Written prayerDear heavenly father, I trust the reality of my risen savior, your only begotten son, who was dead, buried, and rose again to eternal life. Since I accepted him into my heart as my lord and savior he lives in me now. I am joined with his life and it is he who lives his life through me. As I continue to yield to his Lordship I decrease in my humanity and increase in his life flowing through me, and therefore his resurrection power. He led the way so that all those who believe in him will witness the glorification of their transformed bodies. Just as he was raised from the dead and broke the curse of death, I can believe that I too, will be raised to be with him in heaven. Christ was seated at the right hand of the father who has glorified him with the greatest honor, dignity, and authority above all others. Thank you for choosing me to be among those in your family. Thank you for delivering me from the evil of this world. Thank you for saving me for all eternity so I can live in the peace and glory of your presence. In Jesus name, amen.
