Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear God, tonight as I wind down, I am reminded of the still waters that calm my soul. Your presence calms me like gentle waves against the shore. I thank You for the gift of another day. The challenges and triumphs of today have brought me one step closer to fulfilling Your purpose for my life. And as I close my eyes tonight, I pray that You will attend to the voice of my prayer and hear my deepest desires. Help me to align my will with Yours and to trust that Your plans for me are more extraordinary than anything I can imagine. May I rest knowing that You are the living water that quenches my thirst for meaning and purpose. Thank You, God, for the peace that comes from knowing that You are always with me. May Your love surround me like the waves of the sea, carrying me into a deep and restful sleep. In Jesus’s holy name, I pray, Amen.
