Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, as I lay down to rest, I am grateful for the goodness and grace surrounding me. In this peaceful moment, I lift my voice to You, O God of our salvation, with all the gratitude and gladness of a heart that knows Your love. By marvelous deeds, You answer me with righteousness, and in the stillness of this night, I am filled with wonder at the majesty of Your creation. The stars that twinkle above me cast a glow of peace and tranquility, and the soft rustling of the leaves reminds me that I am never truly alone. Even as I close my eyes, I feel Your spirit comforting and keeping me safe. At this moment, I know that I am loved and cherished and that nothing can ever separate me from Your embrace. As I drift off to sleep, I give thanks for the beauty surrounding me and the landscape that speaks of Your glory and power. Keep me safe and secure in Your perfect love. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
