Today’s prayer
Written prayerHeavenly Father, from You, springs forth rivers of living water. When I feel dry and devoid of life, Your Spirit revives me. Because Your love is better than life, I will praise and lift my hands in worship. As I lie down to rest, I will remember Your goodness. I will meditate on Your character and be comforted by Your commandments. Lord, I want my soul to cling tightly to You as a child does to his father. I want to rejoice that You are near and fall asleep with satisfaction and cheer. Your glory and grace give me assurance and alleviation of anxiety. May I slip blissfully into sleep with You on my mind. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
