Today’s prayer
Written prayerHeavenly Father, your desire is not to be confined to a temple of stone but to live among your people. You truly are a loving father who cares for his family. You are not ashamed to be among the lost and broken for your heart of compassion is touched by their infirmities. You announced to the universe that you are my God. You made it clear to all creations that I belong to you. You showed me just how special I am to you. It amazes me how such a powerful God is willing to dwell in the midst of humanity with all its flaws and weaknesses. You see something in me that I have missed. You see the life of Jesus and his potential through me. I love that you put Satan on notice when you declared you were my God. You let him know that when he messes with me he is messing with you. You are Emmanuel, God with us. Thank you for loving me so much that you are here with me even now. I think it is interesting how Jesus was the word in flesh form and he gathered his disciples around him and lived with them the same way you want to live with me. I love you Lord, and pray all these thing in Jesus name, amen.
