Today’s prayer
Written prayerHeavenly father, I come before you in humble adoration. I praise you for this glorious day I have to serve you and bring honor to your name. This world is temporal and fast fleeting everything in this world decays and changes. My only hope is in you. I am in this world but certainly not of it. I am only passing through on my way to my eternal home with you in heaven. While I am here on earth keep me steadfast in serving you. Nothing has more value in your eyes than what I do for you. Others may not notice what I do, or think that what I do has little significance but you Lord, see my heart. You know the little kindnesses I do for others or the words of encouragement I give to those in difficulty. I may grow weary and wonder if what I do really matters but nothing I do for you is wasted or in vain. All I do, I do in your name to share your love with others. So many are in need of a touch of your love. You see Lord, and you will reward me for you are a gracious father. In Jesus name, Amen!
