“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
God’s love never fails. The words of David sing about His enduring love—love that continues forever. Paul proclaims in his letter that nothing can separate us from God’s love. As John says in his book, perfect love casts out fear. The psalmist declares that God’s shield of love protects you, and Paul reminds you that God’s love was freely given even when you didn’t know Him.
Be encouraged because Jesus made a way for you to enter God’s presence. All you have to do is seek Him and knock on the door; He will open it to you. His love is perfect, and it’s your shield of protection. Remember that Jesus calls you blessed, you have access to God, and you don’t have to worry about tomorrow, for He takes care of you. You are safe in His love.
