Hand it Over

Hand it Over

In today's episode of The Daily Pursuit, hosted by Tim Tebow, we sit with 1 Peter 5:7 and the Greek word Peter uses for 'cast' — a throwing word, the same one used when disciples tossed their coats on the donkey Jesus rode into Jerusalem — as a picture of what God actually invites us to do with anxiety: not set it down gently, but hurl it onto Him, because He cares for us. Tim challenges listeners to name the one thing they're most worried about right now, bring it to God by name, and when it comes back, cast it again — because worry doesn't get smaller when we grip it tighter. If you’re looking to deepen your faith through daily Scripture, guided prayer, and moments of quiet reflection, we invite you to explore more on the Pray.com app. Join Tim Tebow as he helps you pursue God’s Word each day and discover additional resources designed to strengthen your walk with Christ.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
