  1. 9373265 Write Your Comeback StoryWhy is it that we complicate things? The new year is in full swing, and so are your ideas of getting healthy. So why not start your year off differently? Write your comeback story. Achieving a healthy lifestyle can often feel like an uphill battle, filled with challenges, setbacks, and never-ending cycles of failure. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  When you constantly find yourself hitting a brick wall, it can be disheartening, and then motivation goes out the window. But fear not, because even in the face of adversity, you have the power to turn things around and write your very own comeback story. But this isn't just any story. It's the story where you honor your reflection and give yourself permission to keep going regardless of failure or success. You have a choice in life, and from here on out, you choose life! So it's time to write your comeback story! The K.I.S.S. ~ Write your comeback story! Today, let's explore ways that will help you come back to what truly matters for your health and well-being. Because as you know, according to studies, only about 8% of people successfully achieve their New Year's resolutions. So let's break the stats this year. And in order to do so, you will need to find a sustainable, long-term approach to healthy living rather than relying on short-lived resolutions. There is no one-size fits all. "True success comes to those who persist through failure." ~ Kristianne Wargo Setbacks and failures are not signs of defeat, but rather opportunities for growth. Step 1: Set Clear and Attainable Goals You have got to be specific, yet with flexibility in mind. Take some time to reflect on what truly matters to you when it comes to your health. Is it losing weight, improving fitness levels, or simply feeling more energized? Define your goals in specific and measurable terms. For example, replace "lose weight" with "lose 10 pounds in the next three months." Setting realistic targets will not only increase your chances of success but also provide you with a clear roadmap to navigate your journey. Step 2: Make Small, Sustainable Changes Don't bite off more than you can chew. Now that you have your goals in place, it's time to implement small, sustainable changes in your everyday. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will your healthy lifestyle. Start by making simple adjustments, such as incorporating more fruits and vegetables into your diet, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, or setting aside dedicated time for physical activity. These small changes, when practiced consistently, can have a significant impact on your overall well-being. Step 3: Cultivate a Supportive Network In this, don't share with people who will criticize or judge. Instead,  surround yourself with a supportive network so you can achieve long-term success. Share your health goals with family and friends, or even join a community of like-minded individuals if they are going to support you. Having people who believe in you and cheer you on during your journey can provide the motivation and accountability you need to stay on track. Yet consider seeking professional guidance from a nutritionist, personal trainer, coach, or therapist who can offer expert advice tailored to your specific needs. Remember, you don't have to do it alone! Embracing a healthy lifestyle and writing your comeback story is not an overnight process. It's a moment-by-moment, decision-by-decision every day. It requires perseverance, resilience, and a commitment to make sustainable changes. When faced with challenges and setbacks, remind yourself that failure is not the end but a stepping stone to the next best decision. Set clear goals, make small sustainable changes, and surround yourself with a supportive network. With these steps in place, you'll be well on your way to reclaiming your health and creating a lasting change that truly matters. My friend, you get to choose to be six feet under quicker or choose to be a living legacy in six minutes. Start writing your comeback story today! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 2. 9383264 Become the Architect of Your EveryDayAchieving anything worthwhile takes dedication and perseverance. You get to have an attitude with the fortitude to stay the course no matter what you face. Become the architect of your everyday. As you know, the new year is an opportune time to embrace the uncertainty, for it is in the journey of conquering the unknown that you discover who are you becoming. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Now, the new year brings a variety of emotions. Some that are thrilling and exhilarating. Others leave you feeling a bit stressed, overwhelmed, and tired before anything has started. In fact, how long is your to-do list already? Most likely, if you're a high achiever, you were making a list after Christmas was completed. And how much of that list is to be completed today? The whole thing! Well, take a deep breath and a step back. Getting ahead of yourself is only going to slow you down even more.  It's time to slow down so you can speed up and become the architect of your every day. The K.I.S.S. ~ Become the architect of your everyday! Because what really matters is what you decide in the moment. The to-do list to keep you organized will always be there. But what gets marked off the list is what you do today. You get to decide to take A.I.M., with you actions in motion. Remember, the unknown doesn't have to be scary. The unknown is simply that. So make it known and the fear melts away. If you really want to make this year count for something more in 2024, don't let the excuses rule your every day. Ready your heart so you can start what God has placed in your heart. There is no time like the present. So gather your tools and strategies, too. Write your sticky notes and place the reminders on your phone. Set yourself up for success in all the right places. Get your mind on track with your heart. It's time to jumpstart and become the architect of your everyday. "Be present. Be incredible. 3. 9393263 Create Your NowIt's time to take charge of your life and make things happen. Sitting back and waiting for something to just happen will be the one thing that will hold you back. Choose your direction and create your now. Now I can already hear the pushback that you should not make something happen; you need to wait on the Lord.  Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Dreams and goals take initiative. Waiting does not mean not taking action. You still have to take A.I.M. one step at a time. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo Think about this. If you are sitting at a stoplight, it doesn't matter what color the light turns. If you don't have gas in the car or it charged up, you can't go forward. If your brakes are loose, you will have problems stopping and yielding. If your oil is depleted, your engine will not run smoothly, eventually giving out, and then you won't be able to go where you were headed. Oh - and if your speedometer isn't working, you won't see any lights, except the flashing blue ones behind you because your speed is too fast or too slow. Make the decision to start taking action today and create your now! The K.I.S.S. ~ Create Your Now! So think about your goals and dreams. What are they? I know you've been thinking about them recently, some for weeks, others for decades.  But if you don't name them, what are they to you? A few words strung together to sound good if someone asked you. Something that keeps you thinking a little longer on what you should be when you grow up. One of my good friends and mentor, Dan Miller, says, "Have you ever noticed that even if God allows you to have a dream, you're expected to work to make it happen?" Dreams are thoughts put together with little words that resemble your heart (Passion). Goals are stepping stones to getting there (Purpose). Actions connect the dreams and goals to create your now (Presence). Here are three specific things you can do: 1. Elevate Your Clarity: You get to define your dreams and your goals. Define the direction you want your life to take by knowing your dreams and setting clear, specific goals. Break them down into smaller milestones so that they are more achievable. For example, if your goal is to start a business, set smaller goals such as creating a business plan, registering your business, and securing your first client. 2. Build Consistent Action: Consistency is the key so long as it incorporates taking A.I.M.; action ignites motivation. If you choose to sit on your butt all the time, that's not action. So take a small step each day toward your goals. If you want to write a book, commit to writing a certain number of words or pages every day. If you want to get fit, establish a routine and stick to it. Consistency builds momentum and brings you closer to your dreams.  3. Embrace the Possibilities, Seen or Unseen: You are going to have opportunities that set you apart or drown you in the mission. You get to choose how you respond. As Dan Miller says, "What does this make possible?" Adopt that growth mindset and believe in your ability to learn and improve. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, and don't let setbacks discourage you. See failures as learning experiences and adjust your approach accordingly. Allowing yourself to see possibilities and not roadblocks, not only will open your mind, but it will open your heart.  Remember, you have the power to Create Your Now. Take charge of your life, set clear goals, take consistent action, and embrace what is seen and unseen. And then watch as you transform every moment and every day into something extraordinary as you create your now.  From my family to yours, may you have a blessed New Year filled with an abundance of joy, hope, forgiveness, and love. 4. 9403262 Now It Springs Up!"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." ~ Isaiah 43:18-19 With the anticipation of the new year, there is nothing greater than letting go of the past and embracing the possibilities that lie ahead. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  The prophet Isaiah penned these words during a tumultuous period in Israel's history. The people were in exile in Babylon, longing for deliverance and restoration. Isaiah brought messages of hope amidst despair, assuring the Israelites of God's faithfulness and promising a new beginning. His words transcended their circumstances, offering a glimmer of hope for a future filled with divine intervention. As you approach the end of the year, it's a natural time for reflection. You look back at the challenges faced, the triumphs celebrated, and the lessons learned. However, dwelling on the past can hinder your ability to move forward. Isaiah invites us to release the burdens of yesterday, to forget what is behind us, and to fix our gaze on what lies ahead. The K.I.S.S. ~ Now it springs up! The words "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past" serve as a gentle reminder that dwelling on the past robs us of the opportunities to experience the beauty of the present and the promise of a future brimming with divine favor. It's a call to let go of regrets, disappointments, and missed opportunities, trusting that God is stirring up something new within us - in hearts that are open to His leading. The verse continues, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" These words inspire us to tune in to the signs of growth and renewal that surround us. Just as spring bursts forth with new life and vibrant colors, God is constantly at work, stirring up new beginnings and possibilities in our lives. "As you enter a new year, be intentional in shedding the weight of the past and embracing the gift of the present. The journey may be uncertain, but if you fix your gaze on God's faithfulness, you'll discover a path filled with purpose and hope." ~ Kristianne Wargo As the year comes to a close and a new year begins, consider this a sacred time to reevaluate your priorities, set meaningful intentions, and open your heart to the divine possibilities of the year ahead. It is an opportunity to surrender your plans to God's perfect timing and trust that He is orchestrating a new symphony in your life, one filled with boundless blessings and remarkable growth. You have to be looking for those God winks in your every day. As we bid farewell to the old and eagerly greet the new, let us internalize the wisdom of Isaiah 43:18-19. May we have the courage to release the weight of the past, embrace the possibilities that lie ahead, and trust in God who holds the power to bring forth new beginnings. Remember, "Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" "Be present. Be incredible. 5. 9413261 In the End, What Really Matters? For some couples, the ball drops, and the year is over. For others, it's a new beginning. Don't let the 'ball drop' kiss be your last one. Because, in the end, what really matters? It's that time of the year when we eagerly bid farewell to the old and embrace the promise of a brand-new beginning. As a married couple, the start of the new year is a perfect opportunity to rekindle the flame and deepen the bond that brought you together.  Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  But as the calendar page turns to a fresh chapter, do you forgive that of the past and be present in your every day, which is your future? What if your marriage could be ten percent better than what it is today? Would you do what it takes to get there? Now be honest! I have a good friend, mentor, and coach who I admire deeply. He has traveled many paths, but all led him to what really matters; an understanding heart. You see, my good friend, entrepreneur Dad, mentor, and coach signed off yesterday for the final episode of his podcast (958); 48 Days to the Work You Love. https://www.48days.com/dan-miller-legacy/ I won't go into details, but he is battling stage four cancer, yet he still stands and asks, "What does this make possible?" Now he would be the first to tell you that behind any strong man is a stronger woman. And that is his wife, Joanne. Their marriage has not been an easy one, as with all marriages. They had their own struggles with finances, raising kids, life transitions, and loving each other deeper than the arguments before. As you can imagine, the 'ball drop' kiss this year will carry a different meaning, or will it? Because, in the end, what really matters? The K.I.S.S. ~ In the end, what really matters? This is a poem written by Joanne Miller. May it touch your heart so your love this year can grow deeper and wider. In the End... by Joanne F. Miller (December 22, 2023) All the petty arguments, The efforts to prove a point,  The angry words and the pouting, Count for little in the end. All the struggles endured, The pain, the hurt, The need to be right, Count for little in the end. All the selfish acts, The self-centered desires, The heated debates, Count for little in the end. All the political strife, The divisive beliefs, The outbursts and decrees, Count for little in the end. In the end, What counts forever, Is the need to be loved, Cherished, appreciated, Respected. In the end, What counts forever, Is the legacy you leave, The footprints you make,  That change the world, One little bit better Since your birth. In the end, what really matters? Are you one who is going to keep score this new year and make sure to twist the hurtful words a little more? Are you one who is going to whine when you don't get your own way and throw an adult temper tantrum? Are you one who is going to sway back and forth as to whether you want to really be married, leaving the heart open for a greater catastrophe? Are you one who is going to gripe all the time when stuff is left unfinished or undone? In the end, what really matters? That's the question I want you to think about for your marriage this New Year. That's the question I want you to ask over and over again when you feel short-changed or left out. That's the question I want you to ask when you feel down and out, and won't give any more of yourself. In the end, what really matters? For Dan and Joanne, it's the simple moments of life. Looking deep into each other's eyes after a discrepancy.  Holding each other's hands as if it was for the first time.  Lingering a little longer in a deep hug, never wanting to let go. Knowing each other's hearts better than they know their own. Loving each other better with each new sunrise. Forgiving quicker than keeping a score of one's wrongs. Serving well with a heart to give more. In the end, what really matters? As the ball drops in a few hours, make note of where you are and where you are going as a couple. May the 'ball drop' kiss be the beginning of a love like Dan and Joanne. Because, in the end, it's what really matters. "Be present. Be incredible. 6. 9423260 How Can Parents Serve Their Child Well in the New Year?Every parent's dream is to see their child flourish in all aspects of life, whether it's in academics, personal growth, or developing strong social skills. How can parents serve their child well in the new year? As we step into a brand-new year, I don't know about you, but I think about how I can best support and guide my children. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Sometimes, I have quick A-HA moments. And other times, I'm flabbergasted.  There is no way I know what to do in this season that my child is in. But regardless of what season you're in with your child, you can support your child well. And it starts with the heart. The K.I.S.S. ~ Start with the heart! Here are three valuable ways to make a positive impact. 1. Cultivate Open Communication In today's fast-paced world, where distractions are aplenty, it is vital for parents to create a nurturing environment where their child feels comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. Regularly engaging in meaningful conversations helps parents to better understand their child's hopes, dreams, fears, and challenges. Open communication fosters trust and strengthens the parent-child bond, which is crucial during both good times and rough patches. "Embracing a new year means embracing new opportunities for growth and connection. As a parent, I encourage you to prioritize open communication with your child. Listen with empathy, validate their feelings, and create space for them to express themselves. This sets a strong foundation for their emotional, intellectual, and personal well-being." - Kristianne Wargo 2. Set Attainable Goals Goal-setting is an empowering practice that can guide children toward success and personal fulfillment. Parents can help their child identify realistic goals that nurture their passions and align with their abilities. Whether it's academic achievements, extracurricular pursuits, or personal milestones, encouraging children to set goals teaches them the value of perseverance, resilience, and self-motivation. "Through my own experience as a parent, I've witnessed the transformative power of goal-setting. Encourage your child to dream big but also guide them in breaking down their goals into manageable steps. One step at a time leads to miles of greatness! This helps them build confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose as they work towards achieving their dreams." - Kristianne Wargo 3. Encourage The "Whole" Approach (Well-rounded Development) While academic success is often placed at the forefront, it's crucial for parents to recognize the importance of holistic development. Encouraging children to explore diverse interests and hobbies helps them discover their talents, passions, and potential. Exposure to various activities nurtures their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. By supporting their child's exploration, parents lay the foundation for well-rounded development. "As parents, it is our role to provide opportunities for our children to discover and explore their unique talents and passions. By encouraging their interests, we help them develop self-confidence, resilience, and the courage to pursue their dreams. Let's provide them with a safe space to engage in various activities that foster intellectual, physical, and emotional growth." - Kristianne Wargo Parenting in the new year is an opportunity for growth, connection, and empowerment. By embracing open communication, guiding goal-setting, and encouraging the "whole" approach, parents can truly serve their children's best interests. As we embark on this new chapter, let us prioritize our children's holistic growth, helping them become confident, purposeful individuals, ready to tackle any challenges that may come their way. Just because the ball drops, doesn't mean we drop the ball as parents. Support your child well this new year! Stretch yourself as a parent and be your child's biggest ambassador. "Be present. 7. 9433259 Accept the GrindAs we enter a new year, it's easy to get caught up in the excitement of fresh starts, like resolutions, creating vision boards, and dreaming big. And while these practices can be valuable, it's equally important to accept the grind. By doing so, even though you don't want to admit it, you ground yourself in reality and recognize that the grind is an essential part of the journey. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  In today's fast-paced society, we are constantly bombarded with messages that inspire us to go after our dreams, achieve greatness, and strive for success. It sounds wonderful, even too perfect! While these messages are undoubtedly motivating, they often overlook an important aspect of the journey: the grind. The grind, as many of us have come to know, is the day-to-day hustle, the hard work, the long hours, and the persistence required to achieve our goals. It is the unglamorous, often overlooked part of the equation. But sometimes, acceptance of the grind is the key to achieving true success. "Sometimes, the true heroism lies in the ability to connect the heart as you accept the grind and the challenges that come your way, and use them as stepping stones toward your goals." ~ Kristianne Wargo The K.I.S.S. ~ Accept the grind! This brings to light the notion that without the grind, our dreams are merely fantasies. The reality is that success is not handed to us on a silver platter; it is earned through hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Accepting the grind means acknowledging that not every day will be filled with inspiration and motivation. There will be days when we feel tired, unmotivated, and even discouraged. But it is during these moments that we must push through, knowing that progress is often made in the face of adversity. One of the keys to accepting the grind is finding joy in the process. When we focus solely on the end goal, we risk becoming consumed by the idea of success, rather than enjoying the journey itself. By finding joy in the small victories, celebrating milestones along the way, and appreciating the lessons learned, you can embrace the grind and make it an integral part of your success story. Moreover, accepting the grind requires a shift in perspective. Instead of viewing it as a burden or a necessary evil, we can choose to see it as an opportunity for growth and self-improvement. The grind teaches you discipline, resilience, and the ability to adapt to challenges – qualities that are invaluable in any pursuit. As we embark on a new year, let us remember that achieving our goals is not solely about lofty dreams and grandiose plans. It is about accepting the grind – the ups and downs, the victories and setbacks – and using them as stepping stones towards our desired destination in the long journey called life. 8. 9443258 Let Go of the Old and Ring in the NewAs the New Year approaches, countless individuals seek to make a fresh start. Get ready to embark on a healthy journey as you let go of the old and ring in the new. And in order to wholeheartedly embrace this new beginning, it is crucial to let go of old habits and embrace what's possible. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Now, you can choose to remain where you are and be miserable in another month, two, or three. Or you can take on an extreme approach and really seek to understand where you are and look for ways to get you where you really want to be. It's going to be a hard journey. It's not going to be easy. But it will be more than worth it one month from now. The K.I.S.S. ~ Let go of the old and ring in the new! Here are three actionable steps to help you on your path to healthy living: 1. Reflect and Release Begin by taking a momentary pause to reflect on the past year. Acknowledge what didn't work and be ready to release any feelings of guilt or self-judgment associated with it. Remember, change is a process, and starting fresh means leaving behind what no longer serves you. Embrace the power of forgiveness and free yourself from the weight of previous setbacks. "Letting go of what didn't work is the gateway to embracing what might work." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. Set Realistic Goals Setting achievable goals is pivotal when it comes to initiating a healthy living journey. Break down your ultimate vision into smaller, concrete objectives that can be accomplished step by step. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo Whether it's incorporating physical activity into your daily routine, eating more nourishing whole foods, or practicing mindfulness, it's crucial to create goals that are challenging yet attainable. By setting realistic goals, you increase your chances of success while maintaining a positive mindset. 3. Seek Relief with Support and Accountability There is no reason to feel like you have to carry this burden of change by yourself. Achieving a healthier lifestyle becomes considerably easier when you have a strong support system in place. And that brings relief. So surround yourself with like-minded individuals who share similar aspirations. Join fitness classes, online communities, or social media groups that provide encouragement, motivation, and a sense of camaraderie. Additionally, find an accountability partner who will hold you responsible for your actions and ensure you stay on track. Sharing your journey with others not only enhances your chances of success but also brings an extra touch of inspiration and support. Remember, embracing healthy living requires a willingness to leave behind old habits and embrace new, potentially life-changing choices. As the New Year dawns, commit to letting go of what didn't work, and create a mindset conducive to personal growth and well-being. The journey toward a healthier you begins with the power of letting go—get ready to embrace what might work. "Letting go and learning from the past is just as important as being present today for what's to come tomorrow." - Kristianne Wargo You can kickstart your transformation and make sustainable progress towards healthy living. And it starts today! Don't wait for the ball to drop. Embrace the fresh start today and embark on a fulfilling journey towards a healthy living life. "Be present. Be incredible. 9. 9453257 Merry and BrightAs the twinkling lights are taken down, the holiday season seems to fade into the night. However, just because Christmas is over doesn't mean we should let go of the joy it brings. Keep your light merry and bright. You have the power to keep the spirit of Christmas alive within you, shining your light merry and bright throughout the year. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  It's all too common to experience the post-holiday letdown, as the anticipation and excitement lead to unfulfilled expectations. But what if we reframed our perspective? Instead of letting the end of Christmas dampen your spirit, let it serve as a reminder to see the possibilities and ignite your heart within. When we dim our light, we risk losing sight of our dreams and aspirations. You might find yourself stuck in the same place, a year older but not necessarily wiser. The magic of Christmas offers you an opportunity to reflect on where you stand in your life and make a pact with yourself to take the necessary steps toward your goals. Embarking on this journey will undoubtedly have its challenges, but the rewards will be worth the excursion. You may find yourself pulled in different directions, with distractions and obligations vying for your attention. However, it is essential to set your heart on what truly matters and keep your focus on the path ahead, always shining merry and bright. The K.I.S.S. ~ Merry and bright! Remember, the journey toward your dreams will not always be easy, but it is in embracing the spirit of Christmas that you can find the strength to persevere. The warmth and love you experience during the holiday season can serve as a guiding light throughout the year. Let that light be a beacon, reminding you of the joy, kindness, and generosity you should share with others. "Don't let the end of Christmas dull your light. Keep shining, keep dreaming, and keep making a difference. Your journey may twist and turn, but by staying merry and bright, you'll always find your way through the darkness and into the light." ~ Kristianne Wargo This year, make a conscious effort to carry the spirit of Christmas with you, not just during the holiday season but in every step you take. You have the power to make a positive impact, to bring joy and brightness to the lives of others. So, let the lights stay on, and shine your light, merry and bright. "Be present. Be incredible. 10. 9463256 The Heart of ChristmasEvery year, as the holiday season approaches, we are reminded of the extraordinary story that lies at the heart of Christmas - the birth of Jesus Christ. Passed down through generations, this captivating tale continues to inspire millions, filling hearts with hope and illuminating the world with its timeless message.  Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Luke 2:1-20 1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register. 4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. 8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." 13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 14 "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests." 15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about." 16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. Where does Christmas find you? Are you connected to the real reason for the season? Or are you one who is hiding for a variety of reasons? Maybe you are feeling alone and stressed beyond your capacity. Maybe you are drowning in debt and just trying to stay afloat.  Maybe you are suffering from a debilitating illness that is zapping your energy. Maybe you are wrestling with the new year and what comes next. Maybe you are fighting an endless battle where there are no words. Maybe you are married, but you aren't sure how strong your marriage is. Maybe you are dealing with a child that's complicated your life in more ways than one. Maybe you don't like who you see in the mirror, so you don't look. Mary and Joseph struggled on the night of Jesus' birth. There was no room for Him in the inn. So they went to find shelter in a lowly stable.  And the King of Kings was born. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. ~ Isaiah 9:6 Are making space for God in your life, and not just for the season, but for your life? Most of us like to hide and think we've got it all under control. But occupying your days or being preoccupied with the busyness this world brings only leaves you searching for more. The emptiness that you feel cannot be filled with all the things of this world. Only God can fill the gap in your heart. Yet, you have to be willing to take down the "no vacancy" sign. You have to open yourself up for His expertise, His unconditional love, His grace, and the hope He brings to you. No matter how full you fill your life with stuff, accolades, achievements, trophies, or #1 whatever, your heart will never be whole.  You see, the heart of Christmas is found within you. You carry the heart of Christmas. But if you drown yourself in all the worry, stress, busyness, chaos, and challenges the world offers, you are going to live a life of hopelessness. You are going to be striving instead of thriving. You will be constantly searching for the light in the darkness. However, the only light that will give you the hope your heart is looking for comes from Jesus Christ. The K.I.S.S. ~ The heart of Christmas! In the hustle and bustle of the world's delight, Amidst the flurry of snowflakes, pure and white, There lies a story, ancient and true, A tale of love, unfolding anew.   The heart of Christmas, a wondrous place, A tender moment, wrapped in grace, It whispers softly, to young and old, A timeless tale, profoundly told.   In a stable's warmth, on the bed of hay, A baby cried on that holy day, Born in humility, a humble birth, The Savior of the world, heaven's greatest worth.   No grandeur or pomp adorned that place, Yet hope and faith exuded from grace, The manger witnessed a miracle rare, A beacon of love, beyond compare.   No ornaments of gold, no lavish attire, But Shepherds gathered, their hearts on fire, Guided by angels, their voices sing, Proclaiming joy, the arrival of the King.   No room in the inn, the sign was clear, But in humble surroundings, hope drew near, For the heart of Christmas knows no bounds, In a stable's embrace, light abounds.   It's in every act of selfless giving, In every prayer and every forgiving, The heart of Christmas touches every soul, Filling emptiness, making brokenness whole.   So let us gather, as community, With hearts united in joyful harmony, Embrace the spirit, oh, feel it ignite, The heart of Christmas, shining bright.   In laughter and love, in warmth and cheer, Let kindness flow through the atmosphere, For Christmas is more than presents and treats, It's the love we share, that never depletes.   May the heart of Christmas heal and bless, May it bring solace, and gently caress, The weary hearts, the burdened souls, With hope, with peace, the world consoles.   As we gather 'round, with loved ones near, Let us hold the essence of Christmas dear, For within our hearts, the light does shine, Brightening the world, for all of time.   The heart of Christmas, an eternal flame, A miracle that speaks every name, In every joy, in every tear, May the heart of Christmas draw us near.   My friend, let this be the beginning of finding the space in your heart to hear what God wants for you. Your gift this season is wrapped with grace and adorned with unconditional love. Today, you get to feel the light in the darkness of your heart. You get to take part in what God desires within you. Healing, freedom, forgiveness, gratitude, love, hope, and grace.  This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24) "Be present. Be incredible. 11. 9473255 A Time of Reflection and RenewalAs twinkling lights adorn our homes, the air echoes with festive melodies, and the aroma of freshly baked treats fills the kitchen, there is a palpable sense of anticipation in the air. Christmas Eve– a time of reflection and renewal. As the chilly December wind embraces us and the days grow shorter, our hearts stir with a special anticipation. Christmas Eve, the evening before the birth of Jesus Christ, is undoubtedly one of the most magical and cherished nights of the year for Christians around the world. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  It is a time when we come together to celebrate the joy, miracles, and unconditional love that is embodied in the birth of our Savior. May this time be filled with hope, that which Jesus Christ brought to each of us. Delving into the Biblical references, we encounter a wealth of verses that guide us in understanding the significance of Christmas Eve and its preparation for the arrival of Jesus. Let's explore these verses as we delve into the beauty and meaning of this sacred occasion. The K.I.S.S. ~ A time of reflection and renewal! 1. Reflection and Anticipation: On this night, as we reflect upon the blessings bestowed upon us throughout the year, it is fitting to ponder the words found in Luke 2:10-12: "But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.'" Indeed, the birth of Jesus fills our hearts with immeasurable joy and hope. As we prepare to honor His arrival, we feel a sense of anticipation, akin to that of the shepherds and the wise men who journeyed to the humble manger. 2. The Gift of Love and Salvation: Christmas Eve reminds us of the profound love God has for humanity. John 3:16 encapsulates this sentiment perfectly: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." In this season of giving, let us not forget that the ultimate gift we receive is the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is a time to reflect on the significance of His birth and the eternal impact it has had on our lives. 3. Preparation and Surrender: Just as Mary and Joseph prepared for the birth of Jesus, we, too, must embrace the spirit of preparation. Matthew 1:23 reminds us of the faith and surrender required during this time: "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means 'God with us')." During this season, as we decorate our homes, bake festive treats, and exchange gifts, let us also prepare our hearts to welcome Jesus with sincere devotion. "Christmas Eve holds a sacred space in our hearts, reminding us to slow down, reflect, and open our hearts to God's unconditional love. It is a moment to hold dear, as we prepare to celebrate the miracle of Jesus' birth." ~ Kristianne Wargo Christmas Eve is an extraordinary time of the year, filled with profound joy and an overwhelming sense of love. As we gather with loved ones and adorn our homes with sparkling lights, let us take a moment to remember the true reason for this season – the birth of Jesus Christ. May we reflect, prepare, and surrender to the immense love and grace that emanates from this blessed night. Let us celebrate Christmas Eve with reverence and an open heart, for it is through the birth of Jesus that we find hope, redemption, and eternal life. As you prepare your heart, may God meet you right where you are, and may you experience the wonder and peace that surpasses all understanding. Merry Christmas! "Be present. Be incredible. 12. 9483254 Hearts RekindledTogether, let us choose to live boldly as we prepare our hearts each day for what lies ahead and rekindle the flame that has the power to illuminate our paths with enduring love. But fear not, dear kindred spirits, lost in the fray, For hope still remains, and love finds its own way.   Amidst the chaos, let intention spring forth, A choice to rekindle what once held such worth. For busyness and priorities may distract and divide, But love, when nurtured, will forever abide. The K.I.S.S. ~ Hearts rekindled! Let us bridge the chasm, where distance resides, Ignite passions anew, as love's fire subsides. Through moments stolen, fleeting and rare, Reclaim love's essence and become a fearless pair.   With hearts aligned, let's dare to reclaim romance, Embark on a journey, where love can advance. For tomorrow's hope lies in today's devotion, And love, once renewed, will transcend any notion.   Choose to live boldly, in love's vibrant embrace, And prepare your heart for what's yet to take place. In each passing day, let affection resound, A refrain of love's melody, forever unbound.   May this poem serve as a gentle reminder, my dear, That love's flame can burn bright, dispelling all fear. Little hands mixing dough, flouring their noses, Creating deliciousness, as the kitchen door closes.   A horse-drawn sleigh ride, through a winter wonderland, With jingling of bells, they glided hand in hand. The children's faces glowing, cheeks turning pink, In this picturesque scene, they found joy in a blink.   Together they decorated the grand Christmas tree, Stringing lights and ornaments, so beautifully. Each bauble held a story, memories from the past, A tree bursting with love, a symbol that'll last. The K.I.S.S. ~ Twas the night before Christmas! The children's laughter echoed, filling the room, Creating treasured moments that never will gloom.   And as the night grew late, they read stories of old, Of Santa and his reindeer, brave and bold. Imagination soared, minds drifted away, To dream of magical sleighs pulled by reindeer astray.   Finally, by the hearth, stockings were laid, With hopes and wishes, ready to be displayed. The children's eyes twinkled, seeing Christmas unfold, In their hearts, the memories worth much more than gold.   The magic of Christmas, oh so divine, Is not just in toys or gifts on a line. It's found in love, togetherness so bright, And joyful festivities all through the night.   With cherished moments, memories shall sow, Like seeds in a garden, they'll forever grow. 14. 9503252 Embrace the Journey of PreparationIn the midst of the holiday rush, it is natural to feel tired and yearn for the festivities to begin. As the anticipation of Christmas fills the air, you first must embrace the journey of preparation. Our hearts long for the joyous celebration and time spent together with loved ones. We may find ourselves caught up in the material aspects, distracted by the hustle and bustle, and merely going through the motions. However, truly pause and reflect on the true essence of this beautiful season. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Whether we realize it or not, preparation is key to fully experiencing the spirit of Christmas. Just as a painter prepares their canvas before creating a masterpiece or a chef gathers the ingredients before cooking a delicious meal, we too must invest time and effort into preparing our hearts, homes, and minds for this joyful celebration. The Bible reminds us of the importance of preparation throughout its verses. In Proverbs 16:1, it states, "The preparations of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord." This highlights the significance of cultivating a heart filled with gratitude, love, and kindness as we enter into the Christmas season. By intentionally preparing our hearts, we open ourselves up to receiving the true blessings that Christmas brings. And as you know, preparation extends beyond just the heart; it also encompasses our physical surroundings. When we adorn our homes with twinkling lights, wreaths, and ornaments, we create an atmosphere that reminds us of the miracle of Christ's birth. Our homes become a sanctuary, welcoming family and friends to gather and rejoice in the season of joy, love, and hope. The K.I.S.S. ~ Embrace the journey of preparation! However, in our eagerness for the celebration to begin, let us not forget the beautiful journey of preparation itself. Embrace those moments spent carefully selecting gifts for loved ones, for it is a gesture of love and thoughtfulness. Savor the time spent wrapping each gift, as it allows us to reflect on the special connection we share with those we cherish. Appreciate every minute spent planning and preparing meals, as it signifies the bond of family and the joy of breaking bread together. As you navigate the busyness of the season, it is crucial to pace yourself and find moments of rest. Remember, this season is not solely about fulfilling obligations or appeasing expectations. It is a time to nourish our souls and cultivate gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon us. "In the stillness of preparation, we find the magic of celebration." ~ Kristianne Wargo Preparation reminds us of the transformative power that comes from taking a breath, centering ourselves, and immersing in the process of preparation. It is within these quiet moments that we truly discover the magic and wonder of Christmas. So, if you find yourself weary from the preparations, I encourage you to hold onto the belief that each step taken is bringing you closer to experiencing the joy and warmth that Christmas brings. Embrace the process, for it is a gift in itself. With the eagerness to embark on the Christmas celebration is understandable, let us not rush past the invaluable journey of preparation. Find solace in the quiet moments, seek inspiration from what the Bible reminds us for the reason of the season, and embrace the gifts of love, gratitude, and joy that come from intentional preparation. May this season be a reminder of the blessings bestowed upon you and your family, and may the spirit of Christmas fill your heart with everlasting peace and joy! "Be present. Be incredible. 15. 9513251 A Joyful BalanceThe holiday season is often synonymous with indulgence, surrounding ourselves with delicious food, delightful treats, and decadent drinks. A time of celebration that requires a joyful balance. In a world that advocates for strict diets and drastic measures to stay fit, we often forget that treating our bodies well means finding a balance between reveling in the joy of the season and embracing moderation. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  So, what does it mean to celebrate without overdoing it, especially when it comes to our eating habits? It means approaching the holiday table with intentionality and reserve, and allowing yourself to indulge mindfully. It's about finding joy in the experience of eating, while also respecting your body and the long-term health goals you have in mind. Celebrate responsibly! The K.I.S.S. ~ Celebrate responsibly! Rather than simply depriving yourself of all the festive treats, you can adopt a few strategies to help you celebrate responsibly during the holiday season. 1. Firstly, it's important to prioritize nourishing foods. Make sure your plate is filled with a variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. By focusing on these nutrient-dense options, you provide your body with the necessary fuel it needs to thrive. But that doesn't mean you need to restrict yourself from enjoying those seasonal specialties. Allow yourself small portions of your favorite indulgences – savoring the flavors and fully enjoying each bite. Remember, the goal is not to avoid indulgence altogether, but rather to approach it with mindfulness and moderation. 2. Finding joy in movement can also be an essential part of treating your body well during the holidays. Engage in physical activities that you genuinely enjoy, whether it's dancing to your favorite holiday tunes, going for a walk in a winter wonderland, or practicing yoga to relax and recharge. Exercise should be a celebration of what your body can do, rather than a punishment for what you consume. 3. Moreover, the holidays are not just about food and fitness. They are an opportunity to express love, gratitude, and creativity. Think outside the box and find alternative ways to celebrate that extend beyond the typical healthy living articles. Consider creating homemade gifts for loved ones, organizing a virtual holiday concert, or even dedicating time to volunteer and spread cheer to those less fortunate. These acts of kindness and creativity nourish our souls and bring joy to our hearts – aspects of wellness that are just as important as physical health. "The key is to find joy in the present moment and to celebrate without guilt. Let go of perfection and embrace the imperfections of the holiday season. It's in those moments that we truly savor the joy and create lasting memories." ~ Kristianne Wargo By treating our bodies well during the holidays, we can find a joyful balance between indulgence and intentional living. It's about celebrating mindfully, nourishing our bodies with wholesome food, reveling in the delight of movement, and embracing the creative and meaningful aspects of the season. So, this holiday season, let's raise our glasses and savor the joy of celebration – with reserve, intentionality, and above all, gratitude for the incredible gift of life. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 16. 9523250 Pour A Cup Of GraceThe holiday season has arrived once again, bringing with it a flurry of activities and obligations. Be cautious not to indulge in the chaos-mocha coffee. Instead, pour a cup of grace. As we find ourselves juggling an endless to-do list, it can feel overwhelming, causing us to question everything around us. In these moments of chaos, it is essential that we take a step back and pour a cup of grace. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  What are you drinking this holiday season? Are you one who is stuck in the chaos-mocha coffee? Are you sipping on the hustle 'n bustle cider? Are you gulping down the pomegranate energy drink? What are you drinking to stay on your game? Now, you can try to do it with all the stuff of this world. But at some point, something has to give. So embrace the power of grace during this festive time of year. Be kind to yourself. You know, yesterday, I found myself exposing my own hurts to benefit someone else's sabotage of me. Now they didn't know what was happening because it was all in my head.  But that's the problem. We get so wrapped up in our own heads, that we can't see what's right in front of us. The K.I.S.S. ~ Pour a cup of grace! "Grace is the beautiful gift you can give yourself when you're feeling overwhelmed and unsure. It's the inner peace that comes from accepting imperfections and simply embracing the present moment." ~ Kristianne Wargo In our fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the never-ending cycle of busyness and perfectionism. The pressure to create picture-perfect memories can lead to feelings of inadequacy and disappointment. Christmas is not about perfection, but rather about the spirit of love and giving. By allowing yourself to let go of unrealistic expectations, you open up space for authentic connection and communication. During the Christmas season, it's important to remember that our to-do list does not define our worth. Be kind to yourself and prioritize what truly matters. Be kind. Be patient. Say no to overbooking yourself. Who needs one more thing on the list of commitments? Preserve your energy. By giving yourself permission to rest and recharge, you can approach each day this holiday season with a smile and a renewed sense of peace and joy.  Isn't that the real reason for the season? And don't forget, just as much as you need to pour yourself a cup of grace, extend that offer to others. Remember that everyone is fighting their own battles and may be feeling overwhelmed as well. By showing compassion and understanding towards others, you can create a supportive and nurturing environment. The simple act of offering a listening ear, a helping hand, or a kind word can make a world of difference during this hectic time of year. I was in a store yesterday needing to return a Christmas tree. And the gal rang me up, but then the options on the computer didn't match what I needed to accomplish. In my head, I was like, "Here we go! No one knows how to think outside the box from either the training or what needs to be done." But, a good thing for all, I packed my patience. All I did was smile sweetly and encourage her with gratitude. After 35 minutes of trying to get three items now returned, we left the store after being charged again for the tree I was trying to return, plus the two I brought in. Crazy situation. Yet, I knew that getting heated over the whole situation was not going to get me anywhere fast. In fact, I was wearing my sign that said, "Tell me your life story," and the gentleman behind me did just that. As the Christmas season unfolds, let us not forget the true essence of this joyous time. Let us take a step back from the chaos and pour a cup of grace, not only for ourselves but for those around us. Make this holiday season one that's filled with love, gratitude, and lasting memories. "Grace allows us to pause, breathe, and find solace amidst the chaos. It is a gentle reminder that it's okay to embrace imperfections and focus on what truly matters. So during this Christmas season, pour a cup of grace and savor the beauty of the present moment as you embrace imperfection in a season that was perfect on that silent night." ~ Kristianne Wargo "Be present. 17. 9533249 Unwrap the Gift of PresenceHow are you handling the busyness of Christmas? Is the hustle and bustle taking over your day? Right now, breathe in the moment of joy and hope. Unwrap the gift of presence. One of the worst things we can allow to happen during this holiday season is letting it control our hearts, which in turn affects our well-being, our mindset.  Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  What you focus on is where you will be drawn toward. Have you ever noticed that when you are driving, you go where you look?  Christmas is a time of joy, peace, and hope. But is it for you this holiday season? Are you so stressed and overwhelmed that all you can think about is what you CAN'T do or what CAN'T be done? So let me ask you-- How's your Christmas going? Maybe you are starting to feel the stress because it's one week until Christmas. Lately, have you been feeling a bit worn out and drained? With so much on your plate, it's takes a toll on your energy and even then, you can't think straight. I went to mail some packages back to where I purchased them from, and the postmaster gal ask me if I was ready for Christmas. Well, in a milli-second, my mind saw the reel of how my house looked like a tornado blew through. But, and it was a big BUT.... I told her "Yes", because of all of this, meaning the packages I was returning. She quickly assumed I had all my gifts wrapped. However, in that moment, I crushed that thought because it wasn't true. Yet I did have something more precious ready. I was ready to unwrap the gift of presence! The K.I.S.S. ~ Unwrap the gift of presence! You see, Christmas is not about all that you have done. It's that you're ready to receive and be present. A gift of joy, hope, and peace was given on Christmas. No one had time to prepare for what was to come. But those who were ready to be present were gifted with the greatest gift of all. You can have a joy-filled Christmas, but it comes with a price. You have to be ready to unwrap the gift of presence. Only you can do that for yourself so that you can do that for others. Imagine giving your spouse, your children, your parents, your puppies and your kitty cats your undivided attention. Who cares about a clean house? Who really cares about how many sides there are with the turkey? Who really cares if there are a few piles of laundry? The pages on the calendar are going to flip where it will boldly proclaim, "It's Christmas!" So today, let's unwrap the gift of presence. 1. Recognize the Power of Your Mind Your mindset has a profound impact on your experiences during Christmas. By shifting your focus to the positive aspects of the season, you can transform the way you perceive and enjoy this special time. Remember the words from Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Embrace this truth and let it shape your perspective. 2. Deal with Holiday Stress Christmas can bring about stress, whether it's related to shopping, hosting, or meeting the expectations of others. To prepare your heart and mind for the festivities, it's crucial to manage stress and cultivate calmness. Prioritize self-care by setting aside time for activities that bring you joy and help you relax. Additionally, set boundaries to protect your mental and emotional well-being. Remember that it's okay to say no and prioritize what truly matters. 3. Be Gratefully Happy In the midst of all the busyness, don't forget to practice gratitude and choose to be happy. Cultivating an attitude of happy gratitude can transform your entire holiday experience. Take a moment each day to reflect on the blessings in your life, big and small. Let Philippians 4:6 guide you: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Remember, when you smile more than you frown,  that's when you begin to unwrap the gift of presence. This Christmas will not be perfect. You are going to forget some gifts, even though you made the list and checked it more than twice.  But who wants a perfect Christmas? How about a Christmas where you get to have conversations with the ones you love and care deeply for? How about a Christmas where there is a resolve with confidence and calm? How about a Christmas where you can sit more than you stand? How about a Christmas where you have memories you will treasure and you don't have to look back at your phone to see what happened? How about a Christmas where you unwrap the gift of presence? May the Lord bless you and your family this season. Go in peace! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 18. 9543248 The Promise of JoyIn a world filled with chaos and uncertainty, there is a promise that brings hope and joy to all who embrace it. It extends far beyond the tinsel and presents of the holiday season; the promise of joy. You see, it is a timeless message that has resounded through the ages. It is the story of Christmas that reminds us of the power of belief and the boundless love that can transform lives. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  At the heart of this story is the Babe, wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. For some, this image evokes sentiments of wonder, reverence, and pure joy. But for many, the true meaning of this scene often gets shrouded in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The pressures of the world, the demands of work, and the complexities of our relationships can obscure the simple, yet profound, message of hope and salvation. When the grip of overwhelm tightens its hold on our lives, it can be easy to lose sight of what truly matters. It is during these moments of upheaval that we need to remind ourselves of the promise of joy that lies within Christmas. We need to remember that amidst the chaos, there is a calm, reassuring presence that can anchor our souls and guide us through the storms. In the Bible, we are told of the birth of Jesus and the tremendous significance it holds for humanity. In Luke 2:10-11, the angel announces to the shepherds, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." The K.I.S.S. ~ The promise of joy! Yesterday evening as I stood at the salad bar creating my famous decadent salad that's tantalizing to your tastebuds and mesmerizing to the eyes, a sweet southern gal came up to me and began the conversation.  At first, I thought I was wearing my sign, "Tell me your story." And I was, however, this story was the story of Christmas. As she refilled the bowls of salad makings, she poured into my soul, reminding me of the meaning of Christmas.  Now, in my mind, of course, I knew the real reason for the season. But she didn't know that. She was sharing the good news for all people and was beyond thrilled to encourage others by sharing the story of Christmas from Luke 2. As our conversation came to a close and my salad was prepared and ready to be devoured, it was in a matter of minutes that God showed up at the salad bar for her and for me.  The words of the angel, spoken that special night centuries ago, continue to resonate with us today. They serve as a powerful reminder that the promise of joy is not limited to one specific time or place. It is a promise that embraces all who are willing to receive it, regardless of their circumstances or background. When your world turns upside down, it is natural to seek control—a sense of stability and order amid the chaos. Yet, the real path to finding joy lies not in your ability to master your surroundings, but in surrendering to God. It is when you acknowledge that the promise of joy originated from God in the Heavens, a source far greater than yourself, that you begin to see the world in a different light. Oh, that silent night that brought the brightest light; the promise of joy! "The promise of joy lies not in our ability to control, but in our willingness to surrender. It is in the knowledge that joy is a gift freely given, waiting to be received by all who seek it." ~ Kristianne Wargo This Christmas, take a moment to pause and reflect on the profound message of joy that is the Christmas story. Open your heart to the possibility of embracing this promise in a different way than ever before, even amidst the chaos of your life. In doing so, there you will feel the Babe wrapping your heart with the promise of joy.  "Be present. Be incredible. 19. 9553247 Build Tomorrow By Starting TodayWe often find ourselves caught up in the busyness of life, constantly putting off the things we know are important until tomorrow. But what if you prioritized the present? Build tomorrow by starting today. You have got to look at this in your marriage.  Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  The holiday season can be particularly challenging for couples, as it brings with it a myriad of stressors, overwhelm, and financial pressures. From juggling family gatherings and obligations to managing expectations and navigating the holiday budget, it's easy for the joy and love to get lost amidst the chaos. But it's not too late to turn things around. By focusing on the power of today, you can slowly but surely create a more fulfilling tomorrow.  The K.I.S.S. ~ Build tomorrow by starting today! Here are three simple yet effective actions that can increase your day by 1% and, in turn, deepen your love for your spouse. 1. Express Gratitude Daily: Take a moment each day to express gratitude for your spouse and the love you share. Gratitude has a profound impact on our well-being and the quality of our relationships. Whether it's through a heartfelt conversation, a handwritten note, or a small act of kindness, let your spouse know how much you appreciate them. This simple practice can work wonders in strengthening your bond. 2. Practice Active Listening: Communication is the cornerstone of a healthy marriage, yet it's often taken for granted. Make a conscious effort to practice active listening when your spouse speaks. Put away distractions, maintain eye contact, and truly engage in the conversation. Show empathy, validate their feelings, and be fully present. By doing so, you not only strengthen the connection between you but also create a safe space for open and honest communication. 3. Prioritize Self-Care: It's easy to neglect ourselves when life gets chaotic, but taking care of your well-being is crucial for a thriving marriage. Make self-care a priority by setting aside time each day to focus on activities that rejuvenate you. Whether it's going for a walk, reading a book, or practicing mindfulness, prioritize self-care to replenish your energy and be the best version for yourself and your spouse. You see, self-care impacts your confidence. Remember, building a better tomorrow starts with the choices you make today. By implementing these simple yet powerful actions, you can increase the happiness and love in your marriage by 1% each day. "When it comes to your marriage, tomorrow can't be fabulous if today isn't the focus." ~ Kristianne Wargo So, let go of the procrastination and seize the day. 20. 9563246 Wrap the Real Gifts This ChristmasWith the preparations for Christmas drawing close, is what's under the tree going to delight all of the little and big ones to see what truly matters? Wrap the real gifts this Christmas.  There's only one more Friday after today before Christmas is here. And one thing I've noticed over the years is that the gifts keep getting smaller, but the price keeps getting bigger. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  I can remember when I would go to garage sales over the summer to prepare for Christmas that year. With a big family, I had to learn how to stretch the dollar and the budget. But then, what do you do when the kids are unhappy with what's under the tree? With all of the stuff that is out there, the competition of getting "the right gift" is out of this world crazy! However, as parents, we don't have to become so flustered. We can enjoy the holiday season even if the kiddos are disappointed about what they got. And that's all because the reason for the season is not the wrapped gifts under the tree. You just have to prepare so the heart will see. The K.I.S.S. ~ Prepare so the heart will see! In this article, we explore three effective strategies parents can implement to foster gratitude and appreciation in their little ones. 1. GRAVITY: What holds your heart? Emphasize the value of experiences over material possessions. In a world saturated with consumerism, it's essential to teach children that true happiness stems from experiences and cherished moments, rather than material things. Encourage your child to create a wishlist that includes activities, outings, or quality time spent with loved ones. By prioritizing experiences, parents can reframe their child's focus from physical gifts alone to meaningful interactions and shared memories. 2. GIVING: How can you serve from the heart? Encourage a spirit of giving and charity. Instilling a sense of empathy and compassion in children is crucial during the holiday season. Engage in charitable activities as a family, such as volunteering at a local shelter or participating in a toy drive. Encourage your child to select one cherished gift from under the tree to donate to someone less fortunate. By doing so, children will realize the impact they can make on others' lives, cultivating gratitude for what they have while fostering a sense of altruism. 3. GRATITUDE: How can you appreciate in the heart? Practice daily gratitude rituals. Make expressing gratitude a part of your family's daily routine. Create a gratitude jar, where each family member writes down something they are thankful for every day, and then read them aloud during mealtime or before bedtime. Additionally, encourage your child to write personalized thank-you notes to friends and family members who have given them gifts. By actively engaging in gratitude practices, parents can shape their child's mindset towards appreciation and foster an attitude of thankfulness. As Kristianne Wargo beautifully puts it, "Gratitude opens our eyes to the abundant blessings surrounding us, transforming our hearts that soon are decorated with life's blessings that cannot part." Remember, Christmas is more than just the gifts under the tree. It's a time for families to come together, create cherished memories, and celebrate the joy of giving. 21. 9573245 Seize the Silent NightIn the realm of chasing dreams and pursuing greatness, there is a perpetual danger lurking in the shadows. Don't be swayed by comfort and convenience. Seize the silent night. Because you know what happens during the silent night? It's that anticipation of tomorrow which holds all the promises of what didn't happen yesterday. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  How can today lead to tomorrow, but take you back to yesterday, leaving the future in the wings? "Tomorrow is the enemy of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo But if you find yourself discouraged and overwhelmed, honor your feelings for a moment, yet not for a season. Where you linger, you will stay. So bury your fears with unwavering action, and let your heart resonate with your deeds.  True resilience lies in the power of your actions rather than mere words. It is in these decisive moments that the seeds of greatness are sown and cultivated. When your back is against the wall, confront that which is holding you from moving forward. Remember, sheer determination and perseverance enable you to maintain your footing in the face of adversity, especially when you find yourself questioning life. Instead of yielding to the temptation of putting essential tasks off until tomorrow, embrace the present. As you know, the secret lies in the understanding that time is relentless, and every moment is precious. You can chase tomorrow, but the run will only hold you back from your goals. Launch yourself into momentum by taking that one step. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo You don't have to leap so quickly that you lose your focus. Take the time that God has given you. The K.I.S.S. ~ Seize the silent night! "The beauty of life lies in the power of presence, where actions speak louder than words to the heart." ~ Kristianne Wargo Unfortunately, most of us have experienced life in a society that thrives on empty promises and postponed dreams. But when you embrace the present, you empower yourself to create your now as a living legacy.  Tomorrow, with its tempting promises of comfort and complacency, can be the enemy of greatness. However, the key lies within your grasp. You got this! Be present. Ready your heart to do what you have not expected, because expectations only hold you back. Let the fear subside from your mind as you take action that has been well-refined. This is your day to let your light shine bright as you seize the silent night. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 22. 9583244 Are Your Holidays Unhealthy? The holiday season is portrayed as a time of joy, love, and togetherness. However, for many of us, this idealized image couldn't be further from their reality. Are your holidays unhealthy? Toxic and unhealthy people can create a hostile environment that dampens the holiday spirit. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  If you find yourself in such a situation, it's important to prioritize your health and well-being. By mentally, emotionally, and spiritually preparing yourself, you can navigate the toxicity and protect yourself from its negative impact. The K.I.S.S. ~ Support others by loving yourself first! Toxicity does not have to be the decorations on your heart or your body. Here are three strategies to help you turn your holidays around, regardless of how unhealthy they might seem. 1. Mental Preparation: When dealing with toxic individuals, it's important to remember that their behavior reflects their character, not yours. The way they treat others speaks volumes about their own internal struggles and issues. While hurtful comments or actions can be deeply painful, try not to take them personally. Recognize that their toxicity stems from their own unresolved emotions and insecurities. This realization can help you detach emotionally and shield yourself from their negative energy. Additionally, set boundaries to protect yourself. If attending a certain event will expose you to toxic behavior, consider the option of staying home, leaving early, or rearranging plans to prioritize your well-being. 2. Emotional Resilience: Accepting the fact that you cannot control other people's behavior is a powerful step toward maintaining emotional balance. Instead of absorbing the toxicity around you, observe it from a distance. Recognize the unhealthy patterns and realize that these individuals are unknowingly distancing themselves from their true potential. While this may evoke sadness, try not to let anger consume you. Avoid reacting to their negativity, as this only perpetuates the cycle. Rather take breaks when you feel yourself becoming reactive, focusing on deep breaths and finding moments of calm. 3. Spiritual Strength: For those who believe in Jesus, tapping into your spiritual foundation can provide invaluable support during difficult times. Remind yourself of your identity in Christ — a child of God, chosen and loved. Reflect on the truth that you are seen as perfect, forgiven, and valued by God. Before attending any holiday gatherings, read and meditate on Ephesians 6:10-18, finding strength in God's mighty power. Imagining yourself fully protected, cloaked in grace and truth, can provide a sense of security against any assaults on your self-worth. Just as you would don a hazardous materials suit in a toxic environment, consciously equip yourself with the full armor of God. With this armor, you can stand strong against lies and attacks, asserting your worth and protecting your well-being. Remember, prioritizing your own health and well-being is not selfish — it's crucial for your overall happiness and fulfillment. Toxic environments are not conducive to thriving, and you deserve to be in spaces that nourish and uplift you. By mentally preparing yourself, fostering emotional resilience, and finding strength in your spiritual foundation, you can turn around your holidays and embrace a healthier approach. Take care of yourself, knowing that you are stewarding yourself well. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 23. 9593243 Time For A ResetIt's easy to cheer for yourself when you are winning. But what happens when you are tired, feeling lost, or thinking of making a change? Now is not the time to give up, but a time for a reset. Life has a way of throwing unexpected challenges our way, leaving us feeling overwhelmed and craving change. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Sometimes you get the nudge to do something different. Maybe it's because you're bored or you want something that challenges you differently.  It could be you find yourself on the wrong ladder, now needing to make a change in the air. It's in these moments that we can lose sight of who we truly are and the incredible strength we possess. But fear not, for within you lies the power to navigate your journey, forge ahead, and stay true to yourself. Just because you make a change doesn't mean you are compromising yourself. Change is a constant. It's okay to question where you are. Questioning does not have any reflection on how well you're doing or solidifying that what you are doing is where you are supposed to be.  A lot of the time, it's just time for a reset. The K.I.S.S. ~ Time for a reset! Time to think about what you are really doing, the people you are impacting, and where you are headed. Now, the answers to those thoughts might be a little scary because the last time you stopped long enough to look at where you are, you've changed. And most likely, for the better. So don't pigeonhole yourself into thinking that questions lead you in the wrong direction. In fact, it might lead you on a better path, good or indifferent. But regardless, make the time for a reset. I am not one who takes time off here from the podcast, but I gotta be honest with you. I'm thinking of doing it this year.  So where are you today? Are you feeling a little worn and torn? Are you in a position where you want to do something different but really don't know what that looks like? Is your heart pulling you in a different direction? As you delve into your thoughts, don't judge yourself. Give yourself the grace to embrace where you are so you can see where you're going next. And be okay if it's something different. Sometimes different is just that– different. It's not about better or worse.  So take the time for a reset. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 24. 9603242 Navigate Your Life with Purpose and ImpactWith the holidays having your attention, it's easy to miss what matters.  Quickly, you must shift your mindset and navigate your life with purpose and impact. Now, you can be one who lends yourself to the easy way and just sit back and learn to react with gumption.  Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  But where does that really get you? What do you want in your life that you're willing to fight for? And not with violence or foul mouths or adult temper tantrums. I'm talking about really looking at where you are and where you want to be. If you are one who wants to live a life of purpose and impact, then it's the perfect time to reflect on your journey and take charge of your every day.  You have to be willing to make the necessary changes to change the trajectory of where you're headed. It's about embracing the call to leadership, even amidst challenges. Lead yourself well. The K.I.S.S. ~ Lead yourself well! Leading yourself well requires dedication, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to personal development. You have to be willing to take an honest look at your life, all of it, not just one part; and really narrow down what needs to change. Your behavior. Your actions. Your mindset. Your tenacity. Your endurance. What is it for you? "If you want to be somewhere different than where you are, you have to lead yourself well." ~ Kristianne Wargo 1. Cultivate Self-Awareness: Leading yourself begins with understanding who you are and what truly matters to you. Cultivating self-awareness enables you to make decisions that align with your values, aspirations, and principles. It means taking the time to explore your passions, morals, and even your flaws. Through introspection and honest self-reflection, you can gain clarity on your purpose and how you want to impact the world. For example, a corporate professional may realize that their true passion lies in social entrepreneurship. By embracing their self-awareness, they can take proactive steps to transition into a career that aligns with their values, such as starting a non-profit organization or partnering with existing enterprises focused on social impact. 2. Embrace Resilience: Leading yourself well requires an unwavering commitment to resilience. Life is rarely a smooth ride, and setbacks and challenges are inevitable. However, it's your response to these obstacles that define you as a leader. And think of embracing resilience as viewing setbacks as learning opportunities and maintaining a forward-focused mindset. Imagine an aspiring writer who faces multiple rejections before getting their work published. Instead of being disheartened, they view each rejection as a valuable chance to refine their craft and push themselves further. This resilience empowers them to persevere, eventually leading to their work being recognized and appreciated. 3. Practice Self-Care: Leading yourself well goes beyond achieving professional success— it also involves taking care of our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. When you practice self-care, it enables you to show up as the best version of yourself. It means carving out time for activities that rejuvenate and nourish your soul, whether it's engaging in hobbies, pursuing physical fitness, or spending time with those you care about.  A busy parent may set aside specific hours each week for self-care, such as practicing stretching, reading a book, or spending quality time with loved ones. By prioritizing their own well-being, they become more resilient, happier, and better equipped to lead their family with love and kindness. "Leading yourself well is serving from an overflow of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo Leading yourself well is not a one-and-done; it's a lifelong journey that requires self-awareness, resilience, and self-care. By understanding your strengths, staying resilient in the face of challenges, and prioritizing your well-being, you can create your now that aligns with your values, dreams, and aspirations. "When you lead yourself well, you can impact the world you touch. Remember, one step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo So, accept the call to leadership. Dare to be misunderstood, criticized, opposed, accused, and even rejected. And then, be ready to blaze a trail of purpose and impact. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"   #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
