Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, You know how easily we are drawn to voices that affirm us rather than correct us. We confess that comfort often feels safer than truth, and illusion easier than obedience. Like those before us, we are tempted to silence the warnings You send and choose what pleases us instead of what saves us. Yet You remain faithful to speak. Give us courage to listen when Your truth confronts us, humility to receive correction, and strength to obey even when it costs us. Guard us from victories that lead to ruin, and lead us instead in the way that gives life. We trust that Your truth, though sharp, is always wrapped in mercy. Amen.
