Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, We confess how easily our hearts chase what glitters and flatters—voices that promise comfort but cannot save. We grow weary from trusting the works of our own hands and believing lies we’re afraid to unlearn. You alone are the living God. Turn us back when we seek answers in the wrong places. Give us courage to receive Your hard word and still call it mercy. Purify our hearts, sharpen our hearing, and teach us to listen when You speak. We are dust, yet You breathe life into us. We are weak, yet You are our strength and our shield. Even in the ruins of rebellion, we lift our eyes to You—still God, still good. Amen.
