Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, the discipline of waiting is difficult. I want to work things out by my design. When I wait, it seems like life is passing me by, and my opportunities will be lost. Your timing is perfect, and you are working on many levels, not just on mine. Patience causes my soul to trust that you have everything under your control. My prayers often involve other people, and you need to intervene in their lives before the answers can come. Help me learn to trust you and your timing. You do things better than I could ever imagine. When I wait patiently for you, I rest in your love for me. And know all will be well. Amen.
