Today’s prayer
Written prayerYour word, Lord, is quick to cut to the core of the matter and expose the true intentions of my heart. Your word cuts both ways, it help me discern the truth in others, and also reveals where my flesh is blocking your spirit. I may think I am doing something for Nobel purposes, but your word will show me those hidden motivations where my pride and selfishness are hidden. As I read your word, you are daily exposing me to your truth. Your word is giving me the strength I need to make the corrections necessary to change my behaviors. As I embrace your corrections I find greater peace in my relationship with you. Amen.
