Today’s prayer
Written prayerOh Father, how awesome you are to me. You saved me when I chose to believe in the sacrifice your son made for me on the cross. My belief in you is all your desired, and you gave me the gift of salvation. No one can earn salvation through good works. Good works puff people up, and their pride causes them to boast in themselves. Keep me humble and dependent on you. Help me give you all the glory for what you have done. Help me remember you use me to reach out to others, but it is your Spirit that touches them. I can’t save anyone, only you can. They only have to believe. Amen.
