Morning Prayer on 2 Kings 17:39

But the Lord your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.

2 Kings 17:39 · KJV

Today’s prayer

Written prayer

Lord… because You have created me to live in freedom I will not hand the keys of my life over to ungodly relationships and traditions so that I remain captive to their harmful and manipulative tactics. I will not be immersed in evil like the children of Israel, I will not go into a cycle of unfaithfulness because of a false promise of abundance. Even if I fall, I will be quick to call on Your name to deliver me and bring me to a place of rest and restoration. No matter what the situation looks like I will remind myself that You are never too far. I will remind myself that You are just, to forgive me and to forget my shortcomings. When others seek to take advantage of my vulnerable moments and mistakes I thank You Lord for sending people in my life like the lions of 2 kings 17 who will roar and fight on my behalf. Today I confess, that the hooks of the enemy are being removed from my mouth and that I will speak Your praises for the rest of my life Lord!

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
