Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, how kind and sensitive you are to understand Adam’s need. You created Adam for companionship with you. You wanted someone you could share your love with. I think you must have delighted in Adam’s enthusiasm as you watched him discover the incredible abilities you instilled in him. I’m sure you smiled at his childlike wonder and excitement as he explored this new world you created. For the first time you saw something was not good. It was not good for him to be alone. He needed the same kind of companionship you desired. He needed someone to share his love with and who could comfort and understand him. It was then you decided to make him a companion, someone that would fit with him. You understand my deepest needs even before I do. I know it is your desire to provide me with my heart's desire and fill my life with blessings. You are the kindest person I know. You are always faithful to meet me at my point of need. Your love is unconditional and everlasting. I trust you Lord to provide for me what is best for my life. The man didn’t ask for a wife but you provided one because you saw the need in his heart. You know what I need Lord and I trust you will provide that need in your proper time.
