Today’s prayer
Written prayerHeavenly Father, thank you for Emmanuel, God with us. You birthed your Son through human flesh so you could identify with our humanity. Through the life of your Son, not only did you redeem us, but you showed us how your life could flow through our flesh. Emmanuel, our Lord Jesus, was both human and divine. He felt everything we feel in this life and showed us how to overcome. I praise you with a heart full of gratitude for the miracle birth of your Son entering into this sin-infested world to claim us for his own. His blood is the crimson red of Christmas that brings us salvation. I rejoice Emmanuel has come to ransom us. Amen.
