Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, how can the words of my mouth be anything but praise when you have redeemed me from my former darkness? The joy of my salvation is my strength, and my greatest desire is to be pleasing in your sight. Sanctify my words and thoughts from any presumptuous sins that might arise and lead me away from your truth. Continue to strengthen me and help me overcome my sinful inclinations and all the other temptations I face daily. You are my strength and give me victory to overcome what life throws at me. As I continue to meditate on your word you give me peace and keep me in your presence. Amen.
