You see how quickly we chase temporary solutions, seeking quick relief instead of resting fully in your care. We confess our need for deeper surrender—for a faith that anchors itself in you alone. Strengthen our hearts so we rely not on passing comforts or our own limited strength, but on your unchanging power. Teach us to place our hope in your reign and not in our own abilities. Open our eyes to see that only you, our true King, can give the peace and freedom we long for. Help us lean into your strength each day, trusting that in you we have everything needed to stand firm. Let our lives reflect your steadfast love and your unwavering rule. You are our refuge, our defender, and our peace. In your mighty name, Amen.
