Today’s prayer
Written prayerFather, this world is temporal, and I am only passing through on my way to my eternal home in heaven. I want to store treasures where it matters most. What I accumulate here in material treasure doesn’t follow me into glory. People fight over material things left behind and steal what they can. Those things are wood, hay and stubble and turn to rust. Your rewards have eternal value. Every day I show your love and kindness to others, you add value to my eternal rewards. You know my heart and see my efforts to serve you. No one can steal those rewards and they are waiting for me when I enter your glory. Amen.
