Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, thank you for rising up ethical judges that delivered Israel from those who wanted to destroy her. Your word holds me accountable to your righteousness. It shows me where I’ve missed the mark and slip into sin. Thank you that your mercies are new every morning. When I repent of my sins I have a fresh start to get it right the next day. Your word keeps me on track and teaches me the wisdom of your ways. The world is full of confusion, deceitfulness, and temptation and it’s hard to avoid getting caught in it at times. If I continue to stay in your word and align myself with your truth I will always find your favor. Your favor brings blessings and provision. Your word gives me life and strength to overcome adversity. As I apply your word to my situation I see your hand move on my behalf. You are a rewarder of those who seek you and are willing to do your will. Keep me in your perfect will for my life. Give me the discernment I need to avoid the worldly traps and allusions that want to imprison me and blind me from your truth. I pray all these things in the wonderful name of Jesus, amen.
