Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, we confess that we are often quick to grumble when life feels difficult, when plans falter, or when we don’t understand what You are doing. In our impatience, we forget Your goodness and overlook the countless ways You care for us. Forgive us, Lord, for allowing complaint to take the place of gratitude. Teach us to see Your hand at work, even in the small things. Help us to trust that every season—whether full or barren—is shaped by Your love. Replace our frustration with thankfulness, and our discontent with peace. May our hearts overflow with gratitude, not because everything is easy, but because You are always faithful. Give us the grace to speak words that bring life and encouragement instead of complaint. Let our joy reflect Your presence in us, so that others may see Your light through our attitude and actions. Amen.
