Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Lord, You have revealed Yourself as the One who is compassionate and kind, patient and faithful in love. You are not quick to condemn but eager to forgive. Yet, often we forget Your true nature. We imagine You through the lens of our fears, believing You to be distant or unapproachable. Forgive us, Lord, for misunderstanding who You are. Teach us to know You as You have shown Yourself—full of mercy, full of grace. Help us to rest in Your love, to trust that Your compassion never runs out. When we feel unworthy, remind us that Your love is not earned, but freely given. May Your faithfulness shape our hearts and guide our steps. Let us reflect Your character in all we do, so that others may see Your goodness through our lives. You are love itself, and in You, we are renewed. Amen.
