Today’s prayer
Written prayerThank you, Lord Jesus, for cleansing me of my sinfulness and forgiving me. I am aware of all the ways I sin with my words and attitudes. I catch myself being judgmental, and my pride causes me to be defensive. Every night I confess my sins and ask for forgiveness. Your mercies are new every morning. I am grateful for the new day ahead of me to start over. When I know you have forgiven me I can leave the past in yesterday and focus on today. Forgiveness is not a one-time experience, but an ongoing daily process. Thank you, for your patience as I stumble along into eternity. You are the best Lord! Amen.
