Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, quiet my emotions with your peace. It’s difficult for me to be still and wait on your timing. It is in these times when you want to show me who you are. I want to see you exalted in the earth. You are patient and kind but there is a time when you will rise up and put an end to injustice. When you speak, your truth will be exalted, and every knee will bow and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Even those who don’t know you will recognize your sovereignty. I praise you for your faithfulness Lord, and want to be the first to exalt you as I move into my day. Amen.
