Today’s prayer
Written prayerLord, help me find peace in my soul. Sometimes I think the grave is my only hope of deliverance from the hardships of this life. Forgive me for my weakness. Depression weighs heavy on me at times, and I lose my way. My life is in your hands, and I yield to your will and good pleasure. Give me the strength to persevere though this challenging time and see your hand move on my behalf in the land of the living. Deliver me from the oppression of the enemy and restore the joy of my salvation. Weeping lasts for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Let your joy come with the dawn. Amen.
