Today’s prayer
Written prayerThank you Lord, for opening my eyes and giving me divine revelation. You have shown yourself - mighty to the pulling down the strongholds of deception, blindness, and pride that prevented me from seeing the truth of who you were. I didn’t realize that before you saved me I worshiped the idols of this world that led me into spiritual poverty. Thank you for rescuing me from the false idols of man that exalt themselves above the one who made the heavens and the earth, who is the great I AM. I AM and always have been and there is none to compete with me. Thank you Lord that you breathed life into Adam and created Eve. I love because you first loved me. You are the source of all life and love and compassion and mercy. There is no life outside of you and you are the power of the resurrection life that gives me hope of eternal life. Even if the entire world would choose to follow the false idols of greed, and lust, and pride, I will cling to the one true living God. I believe in you and thank you for all your loving kindness towards me. I know your word is true and I will praise your name at all times. In Jesus name, amen.
