Today’s prayer
Written prayerGreat is my God, and worthy to be praised! Hallelujah! Glory to the king of kings! The one true living God above all those that think they are gods. I honor you my king and savior for there is none like you or ever will be. Not one of those false gods ever laid down their life to save their people, and then rose from the grave to smash the fear of death and grant them eternal life. You Lord, and only you, have that kind of power and love to offer us. What a covenant of joy I have with you and I rejoice with thanksgiving as I celebrate your name. Because of my covenant with you I need not fear death for you have triumphed over it on my behalf. You are worthy of my trust and adoration for all you do to bless my life. You are God almighty in power, and strength and compassion and mercy. Your name is above all names and I will serve you all the days of my life. You are the one who breathed life into me and redeemed me from the curse of the law that I might be raised up to be with you in all your glory and splendor. In Jesus name, amen.
