Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear Heavenly Father, We come to You today with humble hearts and a desire to seek Your will. We ask that You grant us the grace of selflessness so we may emulate the kind of friendship depicted on the cross. Help us to learn what it means to truly put the needs of others above our own, for Your glory. Let us not be afraid of sacrifice or discomfort as we seek to serve You and those around us. May we follow in the footsteps of Jesus, who gave up His life so that we may have eternal life with You. Fill us with humility as we strive to obey Your commands and put aside our own desires. Enable us to lay down our lives for those around us, showing the same kind of love that Jesus showed on the cross.
