Global Prayer on Joshua 7:10

Dear Lord, I understand how Joshua must have felt because there are times when I feel so defeated I sink to the ground. The weight of oppression can cripple me, and circumstances often drain my strength. I become physically and emotionally too weary to get up. I fall into lamenting my situation and start speaking words that weaken my faith instead of taking action against the lies of the enemy coming against me. You Lord, command me to stand, having done all I must just stand up in the power of your holy spirit. We are not warring against flesh and blood but powers and principalities in the spiritual realm. You Lord, have given me authority to rule over every work of darkness - Greater are you who lives in me than he who is in this world. I pray you will refresh me and help me remember that the battle is yours Lord, not mine. You strengthen me through these times of seeming defeat. As I stand up to face the challenges you refresh me. You show me your great power to turn things around in my favor. You make me wonder why I ever doubted your abilities in the first place. My flesh is weak but you are my strength oh, Lord. I pray these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
