Today’s prayer
Written prayerToday Lord, I am making the conscious decision to forever be mindful of how I conduct myself, because I am a leader and because You have entrusted me with influence in the lives of others. I will not lower my standards to become comfortable with ungodliness. I will not lower my standards to cater to the hearts of those who desire to walk away from Your Goodness and Your Mercy Lord. I decree and I declare that I will stay the course and finish my race of faith with all diligence. Whether eyes are on me or whether I am alone, I will make sure that I represent Christ in all that I do. For I know that I do not have the luxury of living up to others' low expectations of my life. So with 2 Kings before me and Joash’s story heard by me, I will not be moved from my place of faith in You God.
