Today’s prayer
Written prayerDear God, through the life of Queen Athaliah I will make sure that as I step into my position of leadership I will not be motivated by power, prestige or position. Instead, I will do everything within my power to make sure that everything I do is motivated by love. I will not seek leadership merely to gain power over others or to revel in a smug feeling of superiority but will Focus my motive to meet the needs and grow the cause of Your Kingdom. Increase Your Godly character in my life, fortify the walls of my faith so that my pursuit will be one of love and service to others which ultimately leads to You being glorified God. I am ready and willing to step up and to be used to show people the magnitude of how much You love them.
