Today’s prayer
Written prayerGlory to God in the highest! You are the King of Kings and there is none greater than you my Lord. I will shout your praises until they are heard in the highest regions of the universe. May your praises echo throughout eternity and reverberate into every corner of humanity's heart. You rule and reign over all and every knee shall bow and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Because of this gift of love, born in a stable, you sent to earth to destroy the power of sin mankind can now be reconciled back to their right relationship with their heavenly father. Peace can now rule instead of hatred. The rulership of God almighty has been restored. Jesus is not only the king of kings but the prince of peace. My peace I leave with you, not as the world gives, give I to you; Peace with God, peace with our fellow man, and peace with ourselves because all our sins are forgiven through the shed blood of this baby, Jesus, who would grow to one day be the savior of the world. Praise your holy name and thank you for your loving kindness. You are my joy and deepest desire. I long to know you more and extend your peace in the midst of this often chaotic world.
In Jesus name, Amen.
